Stephanie Berger, President/Co-Founder

Stephanie has always been passionate about spreading kindness and inspires others to do so with the children’s book she authored, The Happiest Birthday Ever. Inspired by her time volunteering with Make-A-Wish Foundation, she started Silver Wishes, a nonprofit bringing hope and making a difference in the lives of seniors by granting one-time WOW wishes. Currently she is on the board of directors for the Lincoln Community Foundation, volunteered for Seniors First delivering meals on wheels and has experience organizing school fundraisers and special events.

Clark Osterhout, Treasurer

Clark is grateful to be associated with West Capital Wealth Management (“WCWM”) as a Financial Consultant. Prior to opening a private practice with WCWM, he was a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones for over 8 years.  Prior to entering the financial services industry, he was Vice-President of Sales for a Fortune 500 company, two Silicon Valley start-ups and Vice-President of Investments for a major commercial real estate firm. Clark has enjoyed serving in the community as President of the Rotary Club of Lincoln and the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Garin Clyma, Secretary

As an estate planning Attorney, Garin has a special place in his heart for helping seniors. He is a graduate of U.C. Santa Barbara and Lincoln Law School of Sacramento, and has practiced law in Placer County for the last ten years. As a small business owner, he is thrilled to bring his expertise to Silver Wishes to provide opportunities to one of our most underserviced communities. Garin lives in Lincoln with his wife and three young daughters.

Erine Burridge, Board Member

Erine Burridge is a Branch Manager with Columbia Bank in Rocklin, California, known for building strong client relationships and supporting local businesses. She is actively involved in the community through organizations such as the Rocklin Chamber, South Placer Rotary Club, BNI, and serves as a board member with the Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation. Erine is passionate about giving back and making a meaningful impact in the communities she serves.

Dan Barbee, Board Member

As a California native, Dan earned a Master’s of Science from California State University Northridge.  He was honored to serve as Reconnaissance Marine in the United States Marine Corps.   Dan brings more than 35 years of leadership experience in business operations with most of his years in the defense and intelligence industries.  Currently he is the President of Always Best Care in Northern California where he serves Seniors by providing the highest quality care to hundreds of seniors every week.

Jeff Clyma, Board Member

Jeff has spent 48 years in the real estate industry, including over a decade managing large offices in the Bay Area before returning to his passion—helping clients achieve homeownership and investment goals. He has been married to his wife and best friend, Terry, for nearly 43 years, and together they enjoy a growing family that includes three sons, three daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren. Outside of family time, Jeff enjoys sports—especially baseball (Go Giants!)—as well as upland game hunting, sporting clays, and exploring new places. He was introduced to Silver Wishes through his son Garin and, after attending a fundraiser, felt inspired to get involved in supporting its mission.

Shirley Heritage, Board Member

Shirley is a retired Police and Fire Dispatch Supervisor and now uses her free time to serve and volunteer in the local community. She currently serves as President of the American Legion Auxiliary and Secretary for the Lincoln Veterans Memorial Coalition. She is looking forward to helping the Silver Wishes organization grow and impact the lives of more seniors.

Nicolle Skarg, Board Member

Nicolle is a relationship-driven professional with a passion for bringing people together and strengthening her community. With a background in event planning, marketing, and operations, she has built strong connections with business leaders, elected officials, and local organizations. She previously served as Director of Events and Operations for the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce and now works as an Operations and Marketing Specialist at Skarg Home Finance, supporting growth through collaboration and communication. Nicolle is deeply committed to service, volunteering with local programs including Reading Buddies and Feeding the Foothills, and serving on the Rocklin Leadership Steering Committee. She has been married for 23 years and is a proud mom of two college students, with family at the heart of her dedication to giving back.
